Peace

I make the following claim: Berkeley is the peace symbol/flag/pole capital of the world.  Go ahead, prove me wrong.

Quirky BerkeleyPeace Walls & Big Signs

We have peace walls, public and private.  And we have big symbols all over the place, on houses, on businesses. We’re all about peace.

We fly peace flags.  The international PACE flag, the UN flag, our old hippie flag, Buddhist peace prayer flags.  All over the place.

Emerson at AdelineFamous Peace

John Lennon.  Mario Savio.  Country Joe.  We honor them and their desire for peace.

We do not limit ourselves to large displays of the peace symbol.  We have smaller symbols here, there, and everywhere.

Peace Poles
