I found enough images of Tip Top Bread trucks to justify a separate post on them. Barely. Or put another way – there was so much other Tip Top material and Tip Top Bread material I needed to spill over.
It would have been cheating, I think, to include trucks from the Australian Tip Top bread company.
Or even toy versions of Australian Tip Top Bread trucks.
Likewise, I don’t think that it would be proper to include a photo from what seems to be a different American Tip-Top bread, even if it seems to be a Philadelphia deal.
So let’s just stick with the Ward Baking Company Tip Top Bread trucks.
And cut-out cardboard Tip-Top trucks for kids:
My friend saw my tangent and raised my tangent.
He handed me a book I know and love. My number one favorite childrens author with a brilliant slang-based premise. He then started pulling out truck songs from a collection that Gabby (who else?) gave him.
I did not want to be rude but I had to nip it in the bud. No more truck driving albums. Not that I don’t admire the collection and not that I don’t love the songs – I do – but, enough already. Back to Tip Top trucks. What does he think of them?
