We’ve gotten so caught up in saving our post office that we neglect the back end of mail, the lowly mail box. Quirky mail boxes abound in Berkeley, all waiting for the letter. Where to start with all these wonderful alternatives to store-bought boring conventional mail boxes? Animals, of course.
All complying with USPS guidelines of course. Here are the animals so far, with many streets and blocks still to go. Fish, a duck, a ladybug, birds, a cat, a hint of Holstein, a hint of zebra, a pelican, and then two full blown cows and a hummingbird to die for. Cool!
What a zoo! My friend doesn’t like the zoo. He had a traumatic experience in the big cat room during feeding time when he was three. The roaring freaked him out. But he says that these are “boss boxes.” Overall, what does he think?
