I knew that my friend couldn’t resist.  He asked Gabby to see the photos of the chimney sweep figurine and carved figures collection that Gabby knew of in London.

The man with the collection lived very near the Senate House, University of London.  It is said that Hitler planned to have his London headquarters in the Senate House.  He counted his chickens before they hatched.

The collection was not huge.  First, the carved wooden figures of chimney sweeps:

And then the figurines, Hummel etc.

Huge or not, it is a pretty cool little collection.  At least I thought so.  My friend, who sometimes is a little sensitive when it comes to photos of figurines, was fine with these.  I asked for his overall impression:
