Amelia Earhart Postage Stamps

A few years ago, my friend immersed himself into solving the disappearance of Amelia Earhart.  The fact that many of her flights originated in Oakland caught his attention.  Plus – he is always looking for mysteries to research and solve.

Let me be clear – he intended to do this from the safety of his room and the rambling library attached to his room.  He did not intend to fly to the Pacific.  If I remember correctly, he became an advocate for the Gardner Island Hypothesis.

Gabby knew of this interest, and so when he tired of his collection of Amelia Earhart postage stamps he sent them to my friend.

It was a question that didn’t need to be asked, but I asked my friend nonetheless – what did he think of the stamps that Gabby had sent him?
