My friend happened to be reading David Noebel because our friend Gabby had unloaded his collection of anti-rock books on my friend.  This is what both Gabby and my friend came to believe reading these books and pamphlets.  The subtext of every attack on rock and roll is simple:

dontbuynegroThis is an opinion.  It is not a factual assertion.  It is an opinion.

David Noebel is the king-goose looney of the anti-rock crowd.  Here are his two most famous works:

Communist Noebel Communist Noebel 1And here are other titles from his body of work:

Communist Noebel 2 Communist Noebel 3-2 Communist Noebel 4 Communist Noebel 5Never mind the fact that rock was banned in the USSR.  Pay no attention to that fact.   Just understand how diabolical those commies are.

And if that doesn’t work for you, try this – rock was the music of Satan.

Devil

There is the longstanding legend of Robert Johnson selling his soul to the devil at the crossroads.crossroad Robert_Johnson

This is not what I am talking about.  I am talking about satan using rock and roll to corrupt us.  Obvious, no?

If the communist and/or satanic messages were not obvious to you, it is simple.  The communist and satanic record-makers employed back masking, the recording technique in which a sound or message is recorded backward onto a track that is meant to be played forward.  We remember John singing – or not singing – “I buried Paul” when you played the end of “Strawberry Fields” backwards. Do you doubt me?  Here is PROOF:

My friend admitted to a fatigue from looking through the looniness in the pages of these books.  He intuitively sensed the need for an antidote.  He found it in a pair of shoes.

OK – that’s the antidote.  But what about the books and pamphlets in Gabby’s collection, the appeals to dogma that presented themselves as fact?
